This state-of-the-art sports field sits just behind Albany Middle School, and is accessible off Brighton Avenue, just east of Masonic Avenue. The nine-acre field was entirely updated in 2007-08, and is home to the high school's Cougar football team, along with other Albany Unified School District sports groups, such as soccer, track and baseball teams. The adjacent parking lot has unmarked spaces for about 150 cars.

The field is open to the public 5-8 p.m. weeknights and 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. weekends.
